VECV reports 32.8% growth in December 2025 with strong Eicher truck sales, rising exports, and solid domestic demand across light and heavy-duty segments.

VECV sales grew 32.8% YoY in December 2025.
Eicher CV sales rose 35.7% to 8,327 units.
Domestic sales increased 36.4%, led by SCV/LMD trucks.
Heavy-duty exports surged 112.5% YoY.
Volvo Trucks sales declined by 28.4%.
Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles (VECV), the joint venture between Volvo Trucks and Eicher Trucks, reported a strong sales performance in December 2025, backed by healthy domestic demand and rising exports. As shown in the attached sales chart, total VECV sales stood at 8,534 units, registering a 32.8% year-on-year growth compared to 6,426 units in December 2024.

Eicher-branded commercial vehicles played a major role in VECV’s growth. Total Eicher CV sales reached 8,327 units in December 2025, marking a 35.7% increase over 6,137 units sold in December 2024. Growth was supported by strong demand across light, medium, and heavy-duty truck categories.
In the domestic market, Eicher recorded 7,880 units, showing a 36.4% rise compared to 5,778 units last year.

The data highlights strong buying interest, especially in the SCV and light-duty truck segment, which posted the highest growth.
Eicher’s export business also performed well in December 2025. Total exports rose to 447 units, registering a 24.5% growth over 359 units in December 2024.

The heavy-duty export segment stood out with over 100% growth, indicating rising international demand for Eicher’s higher-capacity trucks.
Volvo Trucks, under the VECV umbrella, reported 207 units sold in December 2025, compared to 289 units in December 2024, reflecting a 28.4% decline. Despite lower volumes, Volvo continues to operate in the premium heavy-duty truck segment.

VECV closed December 2025 on a strong note with 32.8% overall growth, driven mainly by Eicher’s solid domestic and export performance. High demand for SCV and light-duty trucks, along with sharp growth in heavy-duty exports, supported volumes. While Volvo Trucks saw a decline, Eicher’s momentum ensured healthy year-end results for the company.
