Tresa Motors, a Bengaluru based electric vehicle manufacturer, is aiming to set new standards for medium and heavy duty trucks with its in house axial flux motor and lidar enabled driver assistance.
The company is actively working on designing electric trucks with both overnight and fast charge options to ensure a long driving range of 400-500 km on a single full charge.
Tresa’s Aim for the Future of Electric Trucks
Tresa’s engineering team is tirelessly working to develop its in-house axial flux motor (RJ3). With a weight of just 25 kg, the motor has exceptional torque to weight ratio and efficient power transmission.
The motor will be integrated into the company’s e-axles and feature liquid cooling. Tresa’s axle motor is designed on the 800-1200V FLUX350 platform and has an efficiency of 92%. The talented team is working to improve the efficiency up to 95% while delivering 10 kW per kg.
