Tata Motors has announced its Commercial Vehicle (CV) sales performance for October 2025, reporting a total of 37,530 units sold, marking a strong 10% year-on-year growth compared to 34,259 units sold in October 2024.
This consistent performance showcases Tata Motors firm position in the commercial vehicle market, driven by robust domestic demand and impressive export growth.

In the domestic market, Tata Motors sold 35,108 units in October 2025, up by 7% compared to 32,708 units in October 2024.
The steady rise in sales was supported by higher demand across Passenger Carriers, SCV Cargo, and Pickup segments.

The HCV segment recorded a 7% growth, with 10,737 units sold in October 2025 compared to 10,024 units last year.
This steady performance highlights strong demand in long-haul transportation and construction sectors.
Sales in the ILMCV category rose by 6%, reaching 6,169 units versus 5,836 units in October 2024.
The growth reflects Tata Motors’ reliable and efficient range of vehicles catering to regional cargo movement.
The Passenger Carrier segment showed the highest domestic growth of 12%, increasing from 2,835 units in October 2024 to 3,184 units in October 2025.
This growth signals rising demand for staff and public transportation solutions.
The Small Commercial Vehicle (SCV) Cargo and Pickup segment registered a 7% increase, with 15,018 units sold versus 14,013 units last year.
This segment continues to benefit from strong last-mile delivery and small business transport needs.
Tata Motors CV exports witnessed an impressive 56% jump, reaching 2,422 units in October 2025 compared to 1,551 units a year ago.
This surge highlights Tata Motors’ expanding global presence and growing customer trust in international markets.
