Tata Motors has teamed with Delta Electronics India and Thunderplus Solutions Pvt Ltd to boost charging infrastructure for its electric commercial vehicles by installing 250 new fast charging stations around the country.
These new charge stations, located in and around over 50 cities including as Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Pune, and Kochi, will expand the existing network of 540 commercial vehicle charging points.
E-commerce companies, parcel and courier service providers, and other industries are boosting their use of commercial electric vehicles for last-mile deliveries in order to reduce their carbon impact.
Tata Motors would offer the best locations and nearby dealerships for installing these fast-charging stations based on its understanding of the EV market. Thunderplus Solutions will install and run the essential gear, which Delta Electronics will supply.

Vinay Pathak, Vice President and Business Head – SCV&PU, Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles, emphasized that expanding charging infrastructure will encourage more businesses to switch to electric vehicles, enhance vehicle uptime, and contribute to a cleaner environment.
