Tata Motors' top executives talked about the challenges in the small commercial vehicle market. They mentioned a slowdown in demand because of a few reasons: less online shopping, competition from electric three-wheelers, and unusual rain affecting rural areas. Industry experts also noticed these issues.
Girish Wagh, executive director of Tata Motors, stated, "SCV pickup, I believe, bottomed down in Q3 and began to go higher. The transformation in (SCV) pickup is happening, and we should see results as we move forward."
