Rajeev Goyal has been appointed CEO of Mahindra Group's Agri and New Energy Businesses after 20 years with the company. He brings extensive experience in finance and leadership, aligning with Mahindra's strategic growth areas.

Goyal has spent 20 years at Mahindra & Mahindra Limited. He worked across the Automotive and Farm Equipment Businesses, primarily in Finance and Accounts. His leadership roles included CFO of the Farm Equipment Sector, CFO of the Auto Sector, and most recently, CFO of the combined automotive and farm equipment business.
Over the past six years, Goyal focused on strengthening governance standards and improving financial performance. He described this period as transformative for the company. Goyal expressed gratitude to Mahindra Group leaders Anand Mahindra, Anish Shah, and Rajesh Jejurikar for their support and trust in his abilities.
Before joining Mahindra, Goyal worked at Escorts Limited as Chief General Manager – Finance and Accounts. He also held treasury leadership positions at Escorts Finance Ltd. Goyal is a Fellow Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University.
Goyal stated that the Agri and New Energy businesses offer significant potential. These sectors align with India's goals for growth, innovation, and sustainability. His appointment reflects Mahindra Group's focus on these strategic areas.
The announcement was made public on April 14, 2026. Goyal's new role is expected to drive further development in Mahindra's Agri and New Energy verticals.
