The new brand identity features a reinterpretation of Olectra's visual components. The surrounding circle, called the Olectra Universe, represents the broader ecosystem of stakeholders, cities, and infrastructure. The core triangle, now the Olectra Prism, stands for structural integrity and intentional direction. The new tagline, 'Transforming Everyday,' highlights Olectra's commitment to improving daily mobility and impacting the ecosystem.
The refreshed identity aligns with Olectra's long-term vision. The company seeks to lead the global transition to responsible mobility and energy solutions. Its approach focuses on accessible innovation, exceptional execution, and delivering value to all stakeholders.
Olectra's brand repositioning is based on three main pillars: Trusted Guide, Accessible Innovation, and Pragmatic Futurism. These principles guide product development and market engagement. The company aims to create future-ready platforms, ensure scalable innovation, and establish itself as a reliable ecosystem partner.
Olectra enters this new phase with strong operational capabilities. Its manufacturing base supports a growing portfolio, including electric buses, trucks, and tippers. The company reports more than 3,600 electric vehicles in operation across India and an order book exceeding 10,000 vehicles. Olectra vehicles have covered over 500 million green kilometres nationwide.
Mahesh Babu, Managing Director of Olectra Greentech Limited, stated that the new brand identity represents the company's ambition and strategic direction. He emphasized that the change aligns the brand, organization, and long-term goals. Olectra, a part of the MEIL Group, operates from Hyderabad and develops electric mobility solutions for both intercity and metropolitan public transport.
The new identity formalizes a path Olectra has been pursuing, aiming for increased engagement with partners, markets, and the wider electric vehicle ecosystem. The company continues to leverage local engineering and ongoing innovation to support India's transition to efficient, clean, and emission-free transportation.
