New Holland Agriculture, a CNH Industrial brand, has opened a new training center in Greater Noida, claiming that it will improve the technical skills of its workers, dealer teams, and consumers. The training center provides technical and commercial training for tractors, harvesters, and balers. It can train 75 people at a time, which will increase to 90 for various training programs in the future.

The facility has three distinct training workshops for the actual assembly and disassembly of various tractor models. In addition to providing participants with hands-on training, it includes a crop solutions workshop to handle combine harvesters, square balers, and rakes, which the firm claims make it a unique facility. These sessions will be led by four professional trainers for tractor operations and one for crop solution operations.

According to the company, the centre is outfitted with a virtual reality (VR) space to train operators, rather than more typical in-field training, and will provide a safe learning environment, particularly for novice operators.

"It is also a step toward personalizing our contacts with clients and better understanding their demands in order to develop future products," said Narinder Mittal, MD, CNH Industrial - Agricultural Business, India and SAARC.

"Upskilling and reskilling are the need of the hour. The cutting-edge facility will assist operators across India, as well as our personnel, in understanding emerging industrial advances," said Michael Moore, APAC Commercial and Technical Training Manager at CNH Industrial.

With the evolution of machines in the market, spurred by new emission laws, New Holland will ensure that dealer technicians have the necessary skills to keep clients operating in the field.
