Eicher Trucks & Buses, a VE Commercial Vehicles business unit, has set new standards for providing a connected ecosystem to its clients by using 100% connected vehicles, an uptime center, and the next-generation fleet management app, My Eicher.

MyEicher currently connects over 2,75,000 trucks and buses to Eicher's Uptime Centre, serving 1,15,000 clients in India, according to the news statement.

Key Features of My Eicher app

The My Eicher app has three main functions:

The app provides comprehensive tracking features to improve vehicle management through three essential functions: live tracking, tracing previous trips, and geo fence. 

Users can monitor their vehicle's current location and important parameters such as the odometer, fuel levels, DEF, and fuel efficiency (FE). The software allows users to share their vehicles' current and live locations, as well as a live vehicle cluster for real-time dashboard views.

Uptime Centre

Eicher’s Uptime Centre monitors all connected vehicles 24x7. Using AI and ML-powered predictive diagnostics, Eicher experts can detect potential vehicle damage and alert customers through calls and predictive uptime alerts via the My Eicher app. 

Customers receive detailed information about faults, recommended actions, and support status. They can also track their vehicle’s health and performance in real time.

EV Performance Monitoring

The app includes a Charging Management module to monitor EV charging patterns and performance. It provides charging summaries, charge and discharge graphs, and reports on EV parameters. Customers can check CO2 emissions and diesel savings achieved by their EV vehicles.
