Magenta Mobility, an electric mobility solutions provider, has successfully deployed over 2,000 electric vehicles (EVs) in more than 18 cities across India. This achievement shows the company's strong commitment to supporting green and pollution free logistics and encouraging the use of EVs in urban transportation.
Expanding Fleet and City Coverage
Magenta's fleet now includes over 2,000 three-wheelers and more than 250 four-wheelers. These vehicles are already operational in cities like Gurgaon, Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, and many more. Additionally, the company plans to expand into Jaipur and Lucknow soon.
Serving Diverse Clients Across Sectors
Magenta Mobility serves various industries, including e-commerce, courier services, grocery delivery, and FMCG sectors. Some of its key clients include big names like Flipkart Grocery, Amazon UFF, D-Mart, Zomato Hyperpure, Delhivery, and DHL.
Future Expansion and Technology Integration
Maxson Lewis, the Founder & CEO of Magenta Mobility, highlighted that 80% of the fleet is now IoT-enabled and integrated with their fleet management platform, Norminc, enhancing efficiency and tracking. Looking forward, the company plans to expand its fleet to 4,000 three-wheelers and 1,000 four-wheelers by March 2025.
Green Mobility and Sustainability Efforts
The company's electric vehicle deployment is part of a broader effort to reduce carbon emissions and promote green transportation solutions. Magenta Mobility's operations are supported by a network of over 90 charging depots and more than 1,500 chargers, ensuring sustainable logistics across their coverage areas.
