Greaves Electric Mobility Limited (GEML), the electric vehicle arm of Greaves Cotton Limited, has launched an upgraded version of its popular electric three-wheeler, Eltra City XTRA. This new model promises “Everything XTRA”, offering a better range, improved safety, and smart features tailored for city use.

Breaks National Record With 324 km Range on a Single Charge

The Eltra City XTRA has set a new record in India’s electric vehicle segment. During a special test run from Bengaluru to Ranipet, it covered 324 km on a single charge, earning a spot in the India Book of Records. This achievement makes it the highest-range electric three-wheeler in the country as of now.

High Performance and Safety Features

The new Eltra City XTRA is designed for both performance and safety. It offers a true range of 170 km and can reach a top speed of 60 kmph in Power Mode. It is powered by a 9.5 kW peak motor and a 10.75 kWh LFP battery.

Key safety upgrades include:

• 12-inch radial tubeless tyres

• 180mm brake drums for better stopping power

• Reinforced side panels

• Rear visual barrier for added protection

Smart Digital Features for Easier Driving

Greaves has equipped the Eltra City XTRA with smart technology to enhance the user experience:

• 6.2-inch PMVA digital display

• Features include Distance-to-Empty (DTE) and navigation support

• Battery charging time: 4 to 5 hours

The battery comes with a 5-year or 1.2 lakh km warranty, while the vehicle itself has a 3-year or 80,000 km warranty.
